I am from Peru. I attended the National Agrarian La Molina University for my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering. After graduating, I worked at Bayer Crop Science in the agricultural sector, specifically in agricultural trade and food chain partnership. I also worked for Peru’s Ministry of Agriculture with a multidisciplinary team for one year, where I was involved with studies focusing on the assessment of socio-environmental impacts of public projects. Furthermore, I had an amazing international experience both studying English abroad and conducting research on independent study in global commodity chain at Penn State.
I chose the School of International Affairs because of the flexible program that the school offers. I have the opportunity to create my concentration for my future career and take courses across the university. During my visit to the campus, I had the pleasure of interacting with the faculty and the director of admissions who reinforced my idea that the master in SIA was the best option for me. The renowned faculty, highly regarded scholars, study abroad opportunities, and career trips combines both experiential learning and interactive education. As Student Ambassador, my goal is to help all international and domestic students who are planning to attend SIA - so feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
